“Job Blog Finds a New Home”

Hello Readers,

It’s been in the making that the Green Commute’s Job Blog should find a new home on the world wide web. Now the time has come for this to happen and the transfer has begun.

The Green Commute’s Job Blog (Classifieds) section, and related thematic content has moved, but the Green Commute Blog will remain @ this present URL! What this essentially means is a new website was created mainly for job resources separated from the original commute blog.

This big change will make things more functional for both components, and for those who are traveling The Road Less Traveled.

Unfortunately, due to holidays and other work related deadlines it will be a work in progress. I will commence informing you, the readers, the destination of our new website very soon.

Cheers.

‘Commuting with Nature’

Photobucket image
(Photobucket)

Hello. I’ve returned after a spell of commuting with nature :)

Spring is the best time of year, especially for those with a green thumb.

We decided to risk potential frosts so we now have been sprouting lettuce, onions, herbs, broccoli, spinach, carrots, peas and cantaloupe. Everything else we staggered with seeding and these should be sprouting shortly.

If you’re into DIY projects, planting a garden can be a wonderful resource for not only taking control of your edible health, but also for creating your own bath and beauty essentials 100% naturally.

Not only this, did you know you can make your own candles, natural soap bars, body scrubs, tanning lotions etc, and market your hand made bath and spa creations at artisan websites such as Etsy and Art Fire?

If you’re creative and like to learn, making your own hand made products is in the realm of possibilities…
