Simply ‘Cheese Fondue’
This quick and stress-free recipe for cheese fondue is simply splendid-enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 Cup Lager Beer, at room temperature
6 oz shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 oz shredded Gruyere cheese
4 oz grated Cheddar cheese
1-2 Tbsp Flour
1 Tsp Dry Mustard
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine all cheeses and flour; mix well, coating cheese with flour. Set aside. In a large saucepan, bring beer to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low. Add cheese-flour mixture in small amounts, constantly stirring, after each new addition, until the cheese melts. Stir in a figure-eight motion until cheese melts. Stir in mustard mixing well. Transfer to fondue pot and serve immediately with bread cubes, slices of apple, sliced fresh peppers, and fresh mushrooms.
